Deutsch

Bisheriges Adressformat:

git@ssh..git.onstackit.cloud:/.git

Neues Adressformat:

ssh://git@ssh.git.onstackit.cloud///.git

English

On October 27, 2026, between 18:00 and 21:00 CET, we will update how STACKIT Git instances are accessed via SSH.
After this maintenance, all instances will share a unified SSH endpoint, enabling you to use the same host address and SSH client configuration across every instance you work with.

Service Impact

Short interruption:
The web interface and Git operations will be briefly unavailable for approximately one minute per instance.

Instance operations:
Creating and managing instances may take longer than usual during the maintenance window.

Unaffected components:
HTTPS access, repository data, user permissions, registered SSH keys, and IP allowlists will remain completely unchanged.

Deprecation Timeline & Migration:
Legacy addresses will continue to work until April 27, 2027, allowing you to update your local repository remotes and automation pipelines at your own pace. A reminder will be sent before legacy endpoints are decommissioned.

Previous address format:

git@ssh..git.onstackit.cloud:/.git

New address format:

ssh://git@ssh.git.onstackit.cloud///.git

Please update your SSH remotes and automation workflows to the new URL format.
Detailed step-by-step instructions are available in our documentation:
